    Product is mounted directly beside the windshield(driver side) on my AC Cobra. Had the "flat" mirror and really couldn't see too much. This convex mirror shows twice as much with very little distortion. It feels good to now have a useful side view mirror. I recommend the convex model over the flat model - this is definitely an upgrade.
